Why do we sell advertising?

It costs a lot to host, maintain, and update this site and support our hockey club. As traffic inceases each year, so do those costs. Any money earned from advertising is put towards these costs, site development, and of course The Loyola Academy Hockey Club.

Why advertise with us?

This site receives a niche visitor focusing on athletics/sports. The site is growing every month as the word gets out. The number is measured during the offseason and during the regular season. During the regular hockey season, traffic increases substantially. If your business would benefit from this kind of exposure, advertising on our site may work for you. Just remember your target audience...sports fans! Fans flock to this site daily to read current news, get team information, communicate in the forum, and much more. We also have a great number of adults who frequent the site in the interest of following the team as alumni or former hockey players. We also have visitors from other schools and also scouts from colleges and more. A very wide, yet highly focused group of visitors.

How is this done?

The advertising banner at the top of the page and the advertising buttons on the right side menu are our advertising spots. We typically only keep enough spots open to cover our expenses. Spots do open up though. If you cannot create a banner ad, let us know and we may be able to help you. Once these banners are clicked, they will go to the URL of your choice.

How many times will my ad be seen?

The number of visitors to our site continues to grow and grow as word gets out. However, each of those visitors may view other pages on this site which will increase the number of your banner impressions.

How much does it cost?

Rates vary depending on the type(s) of ad you want to purchase and the length of the contract you want. The types of ads are shown below. These prices and ad sizes as well as many specifics are subject to change. We are in the process developing the site for even more features to enhance the visitors experience, so please be patient and flexible.

If you want your ad to get the most exposure, this is the premium option. Your ad will be displayed on every page on our website. Get up to 5 times the number of impressions for only 2 times the cost of the next plan.

Your ad will appear prominently on the Home page of our website. It will be one of the first things to appear to visitors.

Single Page

Located on the page of your choice, this option allows you to sponsor the team or section of your choice. You can select from of any of the menu tabs on our site or an individual team page. Have a favorite team? Show your support by placing you ad on their individual page.

Half Price

This option is the same as any of the plans described above. The only difference is the location. Appearing at the bottom of the page, your ad will get the same exposure at a lower cost.

Coupon Sponsorship

This is an advertiser provided ad with a discount coupon for goods or services at the advertiser's business. You ad will be placed on the website's Sponsors page and "printed on demand" by website visiters. Ads should be supplied as a word or .pdf document.
